Our Events Page Integration and Scheduling

The Events Page feature allows you to keep your customers in the loop by posting events and promotional days to your mobile app. The following options are available to the app administrator.

1. Create a manual Event using Custom Page
CN Marketing offers the option to create a manual event from the back office of your app; this can only be done by the app administrator. Unfortunately creating a custom event for your app back office does not afford you the opportunity to create recurring posts it does, however, allow you to select the days in which your event takes place. Therefore, one could schedule events once a monthly, weekly or daily according to the needs of the app administrator. Creating a Custom Page allows the administrator to include a title, description, beginning date, ending date, address, location, RSVP URL, Ticket Shop URL, website, and image.

2. Integrating Facebook Events

When creating your Facebook Event, the administrator of the account is afforded the option to set the frequency of the event. These options include:
Occurs Once- this event does not occur again at all or for quite some time; such as birthdays, open days, Black Friday Specials or one-day-only deals.
Daily – this event will be posted to your users every day; such as Seasonal deals, buy one get one free deals and loyalty program specials.
Weekly- this event will be posted every week; such as Cardio Week, Aerobics Week and Weekend Specials.
Custom- This allows you to dictate which days these events are posted, should the above not cater to your needs

Depending on the type of event that you are creating, you can adjust the settings to reoccur rather than creating a new event every week. Once you have published your Facebook event, these events will integrate with your mobile app and display to your app users as well.

3. Integrating Google Calendar Events

When creating a Google Calendar Event similar to Facebook, the Administrator of the account is afforded the option to set the frequency of the event. These options include:

Daily, this event will be posted to your users every day; such as Seasonal deals, buy one get one free deals and loyalty program specials.
Weekly, this event will be posted every week; such as Cardio Week, Aerobics Week and Weekend Specials.
Monthly, this event will be posted from the date that it was created; such as month-end or mid-month specials.
Annually, this event occurs once a year; such as a prize giving, year-end functions or tax season.
Every Weekday, this event occurs Monday to Friday such weekday specials, two for one deals or happy hour promotions.
Custom, allows you to create an event that reoccurs and dictate the specific frequency if the above options do not meet your event criteria.

Once you have published your Google Calendar event, these events will integrate with your mobile app and display to your app users as well.
